Since 2013, a big part of my life has been about losing weight, getting healthier and dealing with my awful relationship with food.
I’m morbidly obese, unhealthy and make poor food choices.
In 2017, I’m trying to seriously deal with these issues.
In January 2013, I set myself a Weight Loss Challenge and started #WeightLossWednesday with Sim from Sim’s Life. In June, I found out I was pregnant (over 3st down and 13 weeks before my wedding). That was the end of that journey… I stuck at it for a bit and weighed the same on my wedding day as I did the day I found out I was pregnant. Although, that’s when I let it all go.
I tried to make a change after Macsen was born in March 2014, but I just couldn’t… Then found out I was pregnant again just before Christmas.
Enfys was born in August 2015 and with the stress surrounding her arrival, heart condition and everything else… I won’t lie… I made excuses.
In July 2016, I decided to start on the New You Plan… I managed it and lost 14lb in 3 weeks… but in September I found out I was pregnant yet again.
As I’m writing this (June 2017), Anwen is 5 weeks old. I’m over 2st up on when I got married and feel horrendous.
Since I left #WeightLossWednesday in 2013, Sim ran it solo… but she decided to call it a day last year (having met her goal and surpassing it)
With my renewed energy, Sim and myself have decided to bring the link up back but with a new name, new focus (kind of) and new rules.
