It may have been quite some time since anything has been published, but right now I’m announcing that I am back…
A little bit of background
I had Anwen 4 weeks ago by emergency section and I’m feeling fit enough to attempt to get back on a lifestyle change. Each time I’ve gotten to that stage in the last 3 years I’ve gotten pregnant again but that is most definitely not going to happen this time around.
4 years ago I was 17st 3lb. That was before I had Macsen, Enfys and Anwen and after 6 months of losing weight for my wedding.
Today I am 19st 10lb.
We go on holiday in 7 weeks; it’s our first family holiday since July 2014 and I want to feel more comfortable in myself than I do now.
Calorie Counting & MyFitnessPal
Today has been my first day of true calorie counting. I’m not eating enough. I have a daily limit of 1800 calories, I’ve eaten just short of 1000. So tonight, I’m trying to boost the number of calories slightly by filling up on some fruit.
I’m using MyFitnessPal to track my food, a fitness watch to track my activity and heart rate and the right food choices to help me lose the weight.
My ultimate goal isn’t weight based, it’s about me feeling comfortable in myself. It’s not about the numbers on the scale for me even though they help.
My first short term goal is to lose 14lb before we go on holiday on 12th August.
Start Date: 14th June 2017
Start Weight: 19st 10lb ~ 276lb ~ 125.2kg

This, however, brings me on to the most exciting bit of news…
#WeightLossWednesday is back
only not as you know it.
Sim and myself have been talking about it all and have decided to bring it back but with a few changes.
Our link up will no longer be called #WeightLossWednesday but it’s new name is Feel Good Linky (we will be using the hashtag #FeelGoodLinky on Twitter and Instagram).
It will encompass anything to do with physical health, fitness and weight loss because all of it comes as a package.
#WeightLossWednesday ran every Wednesday and while it was great, it put a lot of pressure on us each week.
The new Feel Good Linky will be a monthly link up. It will be open for new links from 1st-15th of each month.
The rest of the details can be discussed in the first link up. So, why not come along and link up all your health, fitness and weight loss related posts on 1st July.
You could even subscribe and never miss a post…
