I know I missed your birthday and for that I am sorry.
On the 7th March, we celebrated your second birthday. We had a relatively quiet day of relaxing and playing with your toys.
We did have a day trip 2 days before and a small party the day before with the rest of our family.
In the last 8 months, you have changed so much. You have had no choice but to grow up faster than you should have done.
Mummy and Daddy were preoccupied for a lot of it. But you coped. You coped amazingly well.
Your second Christmas was celebrated at Nanny and Pappy’s. You didn’t mind. You were just happy you were surrounded with love.
In the last 8 months your personality has grown. You have developed such a wicked sense of humour. You have discovered your likes and dislikes.
You adore Minions. In fact, you say “minion” more than you say “mummy”.
You love watching Inside Out. I can watch you and know what is going on in the film by your reaction.
You enjoy making towers with your wooden blocks (and lining them up).
You can climb anything… I’ve found you on the top bunk, in the window sill, on the table… nowhere is out of reach.
You aced your two-year review with flying colours. In fact, our health visitor was very impressed with you.
The bond you have with Boyo, your big brother, is second to none. You just want him to be with you all the time.
You play with Princess Pants and are happy to play any game she wants.
The one thing that amazes me most, though, is how much love you have for your little sister. You are so loving and affectionate towards her. You play with her, you ‘talk’ to her, you cwtch her. You shower her with kisses.
Comma, you are incredible. You are the most wonderful little boy and the next year is going to bring us so many more fun times.
I love you, my mouse!
