I’m baaaaack! Miss me?
With Rainbow coming home from hospital in February (almost 3 months ago!!! Really??) I ended up taking a little bit of time out. I felt a little overwhelmed; slightly deserted and just plain old out of my depth. Things are feeling a little more normal now but I’ve got a long way to go personally.
What have we been up to?
I have spent some quality time with the family.
We have been to Longleat Safari Park, Parc Cwm Darran to feed ducks, the park and a number of other great places and things done.
I have been enjoying researching my family history again.
I have started my genealogy blog, Walking with Ancestors, once again. It’s taken a lot of time to get it back off the ground.
We have done a little bit for charity.
We have presented a cheque to Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity on behalf of an organisation my Dad belongs to.
Beth in a Box has a new look.
Whenever I lose my blogging mojo, I find it helps to tweak the blog. This time I’ve completely changed the look but I’m still working out the creases. So please bare with me while I iron it all out.
Rainbow has come on in leaps and bounds.
It may have been a long journey but I feel like we are over the worst of it. She is my beautiful little princess and I’m so proud of her. She has also had plenty of appointments over the last 3 months.
Comma has celebrated his 2nd birthday.
We went to Longleat as part of his birthday treat! He thoroughly enjoyed the day.
What have we got to look forward to?
22q at the Zoo
In less than 3 weeks we will be meeting up with other 22q families at Bristol zoo. I am really looking forward to it. It will be the first time we have met other 22q families.
A ballerina photo shoot
A few weeks ago, I saw a giveaway on Facebook. Win a ballerina photo shoot experience for your daughter… All we had to was tell them why Princess Pants deserved it. I think the last 9 months spoke for themselves.
I really hope that this is the start of being back at this blogging malarkey.
