I’m not really an outdoorsy person, in fact quite the opposite. I have always been the same; however, I am determined that my children enjoy the outdoors and make the most of what it has to offer. When we were offered the opportunity to review a pair of Trespass walking boots, I jumped at the chance, particularly as Boyo was going on Cub Camp and we had discovered that his previous pair was actually too small.
Boyo chose the Predoro Kids Walking Boots because he liked how they looked and had the added bonus of coming in a choice of brown or black. Although we did discover that the children’s boots only go up to a size 3 which he is now wearing… so next time it will be adult boots for him! Eeek!
The boots arrived quickly and Boyo couldn’t wait to try them on for size. He was amazed at how light and comfortable they are to wear. In fact, we’ve had trouble prising them off him; he’s worn them to Cub Camp (an entire weekend), to play in the garden, down the park, on a school trip and countless other places. He actually asked if he could wear them to school instead of his school shoes.
The Trespass Predoro Kids Walking Boots are durable and the Tres-tex fabric offers water resistance and breathability. Dry feet and no pong if they are worn all day! I call that a result! The midsole is made from Phylon which ensures comfort and shock absorption and the suede panelling makes them look good (helped along by the co-ordinating laces). The grips on the sole and toughened toe both make hiking safely a breeze.
Boyo is very very impressed with his new walking boots and I think he is going to get far more use out of this pair than his last.
The Predoro Kid’s Walking Boots are available in brown or black and retail at £42.99, although they are currently on sale for £19.99. They are well worth the money and if Boyo’s feet don’t grow he will be wearing them for a while yet.
